1. General description of back pressure safety valve: The back pressure safety valve is mainly pressed on the valve seat by the diaphragm, valve core and internal spring. When the pressure in the system pipeline exceeds the predetermined pressure, the diaphragm and valve core are jacked up, and the medium is discharged to the return pipe and container. The pressure is set within the range of 0-1.0mpa by adjusting the screw in the pipeline with the help of the pressure gauge in the pipeline. The relief pressure is generally set 1.1-0.2mpa higher than the system pressure, and the pressure of the safety valve is not adjusted It is allowed to exceed the maximum pressure of the metering pump. Generally, it should be installed as close to the outlet of the pump as possible. There should be no valve between the pump and the safety valve. The safety valve is responsible for the normal operation of the system protecting the safety of the pump. 2. General selection and function of back pressure safety valve: 1. The general diameter of the required safety valve is generally the diameter of the pump outlet; 2. What kind of material is needed? Generally, it is considered from the nature and temperature of the delivered fluid. Conventional materials: PVC, 304, 316, 316L stainless steel, carbon steel, etc, 3. There are few general requirements for the connection of import and export. However, in some systems, such as food and drinking water production system, some pipelines may have special requirements for connection mode. Common connection methods include internal thread, flange and hose joint; 4. Resonance with the system shall be avoided during installation, otherwise it will have serious impact on the general work of double safety valve and may damage the back pressure valve; 5. When it is used together with the pulsation damper, the pulsation damper shall be installed between the pump and the safety valve to absorb the peak flow between the pump and the safety valve. Slow down the wear rate of back pressure valve; 6. Protective shed or cover shall be added for outdoor use; 7. Before any maintenance of the safety valve, stop the operation of the equipment, release the pressure, close the valve connecting the back pressure valve and the system, and confirm that there is no pressure in the pulsation damper. During maintenance, pay attention to prevent the transported liquid from hurting human body; 8. The safety valves are all directional. If the inlet and outlet of the safety valve are connected reversely, the pressure will multiply, which will bring harm to the system and may cause danger; 9. In case of any failure of the safety valve during operation, the system operation shall be stopped in time or the pipeline where the back pressure valve is located shall be closed, the use of the safety valve shall be stopped, and the safety valve shall be inspected and replaced; 9.Before any inspection and maintenance of the safety valve, stop the equipment, release the pressure in the valve, close the valve associated with the safety valve and the system, and confirm that there is no pressure in the pulsation damper. During maintenance, pay attention to prevent the high-pressure fluid in the valve from splashing, which may cause injury to human body.
