The water enters the plastic mesh filter from the water inlet. First, the impurities of larger particles are filtered through the primary filter element assembly, and then it reaches the fine filter screen. After the impurities of small particles are filtered through the fine filter screen, the clear water is discharged from the water outlet. In the process of self-cleaning filter filtration, the impurities in the inner layer of the fine filter screen gradually accumulate, forming a pressure difference between the inner and outer sides of the screen filter. When the pressure difference of the mesh filter reaches the preset value, the automatic cleaning process will be started, the blowdown valve will be opened, the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder of the main assembly will release the pressure and discharge the water, the pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the suction pipe will be greatly reduced. Due to the negative pressure of the mesh filter, the dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter screen will be absorbed through the suction nozzle, and the water mesh filter force motor will flow into the hydraulic motor chamber, It is discharged by the blowdown valve to form a suction process. When the water flow of the mesh filter passes through the hydraulic motor, it drives the suction pipe to rotate, and the piston of the hydraulic cylinder drives the suction pipe to move axially. The suction device assembly cleans the inner surface of the whole mesh completely through the combination of the axial movement and the rotary movement. The whole cleaning process will last for tens of seconds. When the drain valve is closed at the end of cleaning, the increased water pressure will make the hydraulic cylinder piston return to its original position, and the mesh filter starts to prepare for the next flushing cycle. During the cleaning process, the normal filtering work of the filter is uninterrupted.

Design and selection of plastic mesh filter:

1. Raw water quality classification:

A. Excellent water quality: urban tap water, well water extracted from stable aquifer;

B. General water quality: circulating cooling water, surface water after sedimentation treatment, drainage after effective sedimentation and complete biological treatment;

C. Poor water quality: ground water extracted from aquifers with poor water quality, which is drained without or with little biological treatment after effective sedimentation, and has a large number of microorganisms;

D. Poor water quality: well water extracted from very dirty or rich in iron and manganese, surface water affected by flood without sedimentation, and drainage without sedimentation and biological treatment.

Different incoming water quality has a great influence on the operation cycle of the filter. Generally, when selecting the system, the backwash interval of the system should be no less than 1 hour.

2. Selection of filtering accuracy of plastic mesh filter:

The selection of the filter precision of plastic mesh filter, that is, the disc, is of great significance to ensure the application of the plastic mesh filter system in the whole water system. Only reasonable and correct selection can meet the subsequent water quality requirements. The following table is the recommended filter precision for common centralized filtering purposes.

The quality of raw water, the required precision after filtration and the hourly water yield are the basis for selecting our filtration system.

3. Selection of backwash mode of plastic mesh filter

3.1 if the water inlet pressure is greater than (minimum backwash pressure + 1.2kg) and the filtration flow is greater than 5 times of the backwash flow, the internal backwash mode can be selected, and the back pressure valve can not be used.

3.2. If the water inlet pressure is greater than (minimum backwash pressure) and the filter flow is greater than 1.5 times of backwash flow, the internal backwash mode can be selected, but the automatic back pressure valve must be included.

3.3 in other cases, external backwash mode or collective backwash mode must be selected.

Precautions for plastic mesh filter:

1. When a certain amount of dirt accumulates on the filter screen, the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet of the filter will increase sharply. When the pressure drop exceeds 0.07MPa, it is necessary to wash it in time;

2. The direction of water in and out must be selected according to the filtering direction of the filter element, and it must not be used in reverse;

3. If the filter element and sealing ring are damaged, they must be replaced in time, otherwise the filtering effect on water will be lost;

4. When it is not used in winter, the water should be drained to prevent freezing damage;

5.The mesh filter can be used alone or in combination with other filters.
