Connection Type of HDPE Pipe Fittings

PE Pipe connection: PE pipe welding, PE pipe butt welds, this method provides the highest reliability and diameter of the range and pressure process: the end of the heated pipe, using a tool called contact pressure and temperature definition. The ends were rapidly contacted and kept under pressure during cooling.

Connection form: pe tube and pp tube can be divided according to interface form and heating mode:

1. Electric melting connection: electric melt bearing plug connection, electric melt saddle connection.

2. Hot melt connection: hot melt plug connection, hot melt saddle connection, hot melt butt connection.

3. Mechanical connection: wire buckle connection, flange connection, steel-plastic conversion connection.

Connection type:

First, electric melt connection: first put the electric melt pipe piece on the pipe, and then use a special welding machine according to the specified parameters (time, voltage, etc.) to the electric melt pipe piece power, so that the inner surface of the electric melt pipe piece and the inserted end of the pipe outer surface melt, after cooling, the pipe and pipe piece is fused together. Its characteristics are convenient and rapid connection, good joint quality, small interference from external factors, but the price of PE Electric Fusion Fitting is several times to dozens of times of ordinary pipe fittings, (the smaller the diameter, the greater the difference), generally suitable for the connection of large caliber pipe.

1. Procedure (process) of the connection: Check- - - - -cut pipe- - - - - -clean joint site- - - - -tube fitting sleeve pipe- - - - -correction- - - - -energized fusion- - - - -cooling

(1) Pipe cutting: the connecting end of the pipe should be cut vertically to ensure sufficient hot melting area. Commonused cutting tools are rotary cutter, saw bow, plastic pipe scissors; cutting does not allow high temperature, so as not to cause high temperature deformation.

(5) Enabling melting: the time and voltage of electrified heating shall comply with the regulations of the electric melt welding machine and the PE Pipe Fitting Electric Fusion piece manufacturer, so as to ensure that the best melting joint is obtained under the best supply voltage and the best heating time.

(6) Cooling: Since the pe pipe joint can only reach its maximum compressive strength after all cooling to room temperature, other external forces during the cooling period will make the pipe and fittings can not maintain the same axis, thus affecting the melting quality. Therefore, the connector shall not be moved or apply an external force at the connection during the cooling period.

Second, Hot melting connection:

I. Hot melting connection: 1. The hot melting equipment can operate before reaching the set working temperature.2. PE Fitting end cutting should be correct, neat and clean.3. The insertion should reach the mark depth.4. No rotation is prohibited.

II. Hot melting docking: 1. Hot melting welding machine temperature control should be accurate.2. Welding heating time, temperature, pressure, pressure retention and cooling time shall meet the regulations.3. No external force shall be applied to the connector during thermal insulation and cooling.

Third, Mechanical connection:

I. Silk buckle connection: connection with the same specification of internal or external wire.

II. Flange connection: flange sleeve is the same material as pipe material.

III. Steel-plastic conversion connection: respectively connection with materials of the same material.
