Characteristics of PVC Gate Valve:

2. Installation points:
1) Installation position, height, import and exit direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.
2) All kinds of manual valves installed on the insulation CPVC Pipe shall not be downward.
3) The valve must be inspected before the installation, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "General Valve Mark" GB 12220. For the valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and being cut off on the main pipe Plastic Fitting, the strength and tight performance tests shall be conducted before installation, and they shall be used only after being qualified. During the strength test, the test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the nominal pressure, and the duration is not less than 5min. The PVDF Gate Valve shell and packing shall be qualified. For tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times of the nominal pressure; the test pressure shall meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard, and pass the valve seal surface.
4) Hand wheel, handle and transmission mechanism are not allowed for lifting, and collision is strictly prohibited.
5) The CPVC Gate Valve with the drive mechanism shall be installed according to the product operation manual.
Attentions:
1. The gate valve is only used for the operation of all kinds of pipelines or equipment, and it is not allowed for throttling.
2. For the gate valve with the hand wheel or handle, no more auxiliary bar should be added during the operation (if the sealing is not strict, the repair sealing surface or other parts should be checked). Hand wheel and handle rotate clockwise to close, and vice versa. The PPH Gate Valve with drive mechanism shall be used according to the product operating manual.
