Use and Structural Principle of the Glass Rotor Flow Meter

The main measuring element of the glass rotor flow meter is a vertically mounted small upper large cone glass tube and a float movable up and down inside. When the fluid flows bottom-up through the conical glass tube, the pressure difference occurs between the float up and down the float, and the float rises under the differential pressure. When the rising force force, the buoyancy force, and the viscosity lift force are equal to the gravity force of the float, the float is in an equilibrium position. Therefore, there is a certain proportional relationship between the fluid flow through the glass rotor meter and the float rising height, that is, and the circulation area of the glass rotor FLOW METER, and the position height of the float can be regarded as the flow measure.

Use: Glass PANEL FLOW METER is mainly used in chemical industry, petroleum, light industry, medicine, chemical fertilizer, chemical fiber, food, dye, environmental protection and scientific research departments, used to measure the flow of single-phase non-pulsating (liquid or gas) fluid. Corrosion-resistant glass GAS FLOW METER is mainly used for the detection of corrosive liquid and gas media flow, such as strong acid (except hydrofluoric acid), strong alkali, oxidant, strong oxidation acid, organic solvents and other corrosive gas or liquid media flow detection.

Structural principle: The flow meter is mainly composed of a conical glass tube expanding from bottom to bottom up and a float that moves up and down with the size of the fluid flow (Figure 3). When the fluid flows up through the cone tube, the lift S generated by the fluid kinetic energy and the buoyancy A of the fluid on the float make the float rise. When the sum of the lift S and the buoyancy A is equal to the float itself gravity G, the float is in equilibrium, stable at a certain height position, and the scale on the cone tube indicates the flow value of the fluid.
