Selection Matters of FLOW METER

The rotor flow meter consists of two components, one is a tapered tube that gradually expands from the bottom up, and the other is the rotor flow meter is a rotor placed in the conical tube and can be freely moved up and down along the center line of the tube. The rotor of the GAS FLOW METER can be made of stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, etc.

Note for selection:

1. For the selection of remote transmission-type metal pipe float rotor flow meter, choose the rotor flow meter suitable for the explosion-proof type requirements of the use place; we should also pay attention to the tightening of the shell after power and the junction seal during installation, which has met the requirements of explosion-proof, protection and erosion prevention.

2. For the places where the measured medium temperature is too high (> 120) or too low, thermal insulation or heat insulation measures are usually taken for the sensor part of the rotor flow meter. In order to ensure the normal working ambient temperature of the signal converter- - - - - -indicator, the high temperature indicator should be selected.

3. For some measured media that need to take thermal insulation or cooling, to choose the sandwich type rotor flow meter. Heat tracing or cooling interface of the standard metal pipe float rotor flow meter shall be connected by DIN2501 DN15 PN1.6 flange. If other flange or threaded connections are required, please indicate when ordering.

4. The pressure of the inlet medium of the rotor FLOW METER is unstable, especially used for the gas measurement. In order to ensure the accuracy and service life, the damping structure should be selected.

5. When the pressure level required by the medium is high, which exceeds the standard pressure level, please choose the high pressure type structure. The high pressure type adopts HG20595-97 RF with neck butt welded steel pipe flange. If other standards are used, please indicate when ordering.

6. When installing the rotor flow meter, ensure that the verticality of the measuring pipe is better than 5%, and the bypass should be installed to facilitate the maintenance and cleaning without affecting the production.

7. The rotor flow meter shall ensure that the inlet is 5DN and the outlet is not 250mm; if the medium contains ferromagnetic material, the magnetic Plastic Filter shall be installed before the rotor flow meter.

8. The control valve in the measurement and control system shall be installed downstream of the rotor flow meter. When used for gas measurement, the working pressure shall be not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the ROTA METER to stabilize the rotor flow meter.

9. Before installing the metal pipe float rotor flow meter, the stop element in the PANEL FLOW METER shall be removed; the control valve shall be slowly opened slowly to avoid impact damage to the rotor flow meter.
