Correct use and maintenance of the valve can extend the service life of the PFA PTFE Lined Valve, prevent all kinds of accidents, and ensure the normal operation of the pipeline. Therefore, the following points must be noted in use:
1. Read the product instruction manual carefully before use.
2. Use within the pressure, temperature and medium specified on the nameplate or in the manual.
3. When using, prevent the PFA PTFE Lined Valve from producing excessive pipe stress due to the temperature change, minimize the temperature change, and add a U-shaped expansion section before and after the valve.
4. Do not use the lever to open and close the PFA PTFE Lined Valve, pay attention to observe the PFA PTFE Lined Valve opening and close indication position and limit device, do not force it to avoid premature damage to the fluorine plastic sealing surface.
5. For some media that are unstable and easy to decompose (such as the decomposition of some media will cause volume expansion and abnormal increase of working condition pressure) that will cause valve damage or leakage, measures should be taken to eliminate or limit the factors that cause the decomposition of unstable media. In the valve selection, the fluorine lining valve with the automatic pressure relief device should be selected by considering the possible working condition changes caused by the medium instability and easy decomposition.
6. For the lining fluorine lining valve on the toxic, flammable, explosive and highly corrosive medium pipeline, it is strictly prohibited to replace the filler under pressure. Although the PFA PTFE Lined Valve is designed to upper seal, it is not recommended to replace the packing under pressure.
7. For the pipelines with spontaneous combustion media, measures should be taken to ensure that the ambient temperature and the working condition temperature should not exceed the spontaneous combustion point of the medium, so as to prevent the danger caused by sunlight exposure or external fire.
8. For the violent and long-term vibration of the pipe, measures should be taken to avoid the damage caused by the PFA PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve.
9. During the use of the PFA PTFE Lined Ball Valve, the soft fluorine plastic sealing surface will often damage the sealing surface due to medium crystallization and solid particles, resulting in seal leakage, and repair or replace the seal in time after discovery.
10. Some fluorine lining valves are opened in the middle part for flow adjustment, and the high-speed medium causes premature damage to the sealing surface. In this case, the seal should be replaced in time.
11. Gaskets are generally not added at the flange of the PFA PTFE Lined Diaphragm Valve. If the middle flange leaks, the middle flange nut can be tightened evenly to eliminate the leakage. If the medium flange sealing surface is damaged, repair the sealing surface and add the medium flange gasket to solve it.
12. If the handle or hand wheel rotation is not flexible or the PFA PTFE Lined Check Valve cannot be opened and closed, the cover nut can be rotated properly loose. The rotation is still inflexible. May be the pressure cover skew, to adjust the positive pressure cover. After adjusting and loosening the pressure cover can not be flexibly opened and closed and lining the valve, the fluorine valve should be disassembled and checked, remove dirt, troubleshooting. When removing such fluorine lining valves, pay attention to the media in the fluorine lining valve pipe, whether used, or newly installed. If the use of medium is toxic, flammable, explosive substances, the staff should wear protective masks and rubber gloves, wear protective clothing in accordance with the operating procedures. Avoid accidents during disassembly and prevent accidents.
